Project Manager: Patient Recruitment

Our client’s partner with us to improve the representation of patients on clinical trials so that trial populations reflect those that will ultimately benefit from a treatment. We achieve this through our commitment to Community Engagement, Research & Insights, effective Patient Recruitment and Retention and Diversity and Inclusivity Consulting.

We are growing, and as such, we’re looking for someone to join our Patient Recruitment Team in a Project Management capacity.

At COUCH we contribute to diverse recruitment into clinical trials through development and delivery of patient and HCP focused communications materials across whichever media is most appropriate and accessible to our intended audience: from digital – websites and social media campaigns, through to printed materials, podcasts, and anything in-between.

Our team works from protocol or RFP stage with existing and prospective clients to identify the most effective ways of engaging with diverse communities. To contribute to this process, you’ll draw on your own expertise of the clinical trial recruitment process and retention opportunities and chFallenges, and the insights gathered by our internal experts on specific considerations for diverse communities to develop targeted Creative campaign strategies which you’ll then deliver internationally, on time and budget.

You’ll be an expert communicator and relationship builder, able to work effectively with internal and external teams in a range of interactions – from engaging Research teams to developing robust Creative briefs through to all aspects of supplier and client management.

Your accuracy and attention to detail will be at ‘Perfectionist’ level and you’ll already have experience of applying this to projects with multiple deliverables, which are often then tailored and localised across 10 or more locations.

As our team grows, we’ll help you to too, supporting you to manage and mentor others, and to increase the scope and influence of your own role. As a small independently owned and growing business, there are enormous opportunities to make an impact and to continue to develop at COUCH.

In your application for this role, please demonstrate:

  • Experience and knowledge of patient recruitment & retention for clinical trials (maybe from a CRO, biotech or agency background)
  • Relevant education in a scientific discipline or project management
  • That you are scientifically and commercially astute
  • Experience of the development of insight driven Creative campaigns
  • Client services and vendor management experience
  • Experience of effective line management preferred
